Follow this 5-step guide to connect your WhatsApp instance and send automated messages from Node.js, Python, or PHP in under 5 minutes.
Step 1: Obtain Your Secret API Key
Register for a free account at Lushai.dev WAPI and copy your API Key from the Developer API tab.
Step 2: Link Your WhatsApp Phone Instance
Navigate to the Devices page. Click "Link Device" and enter your 10-digit mobile number to generate an 8-digit WhatsApp pairing code, or scan the displayed QR code on your mobile phone.
Step 3: Dispatch Your First Automated Message
Execute an HTTP POST to https://wapi.lushai.dev/api/send-message with your target recipient number and message text.
Step 4: Configure Inbound Webhook Callbacks
Receive customer responses and blue-tick delivery status receipts in real-time by registering your server callback URL at POST /api/webhook/set.
